I reckon this should do it, with 8x aaa batteries (12volts,600mAh) should give approx 4 hours operating time, no need for resistors either!

Dude you need to check out the field system we were in yesterday on google earth, locate it using the go cart track, remember we almost walked up that steep field, look in the very top corner of it, that looks like a track leading straight off the common to me!!!!!

And see how it links into all the other fields without any gate ways, there must be loads of lines down that, I just measured a fairly direct route from the top of garway hil, 1.7km!!!!! HA HA HA
