Hey, Does anyone know the 411 on these guys? They make a fresh looking board and I don't know much about them? - Price for each board they make? / Is it worth the price? - Are they all custom? - How reliable and tested are they? - How to possibly get one? - Someone to contact or if they are on this...

http://www.surfingdirt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5558 This is what I was thinking of, but no, there's no official guide, but if you've got the time and a spare £100 odd, go on ebay and buy some hope minis, brake handle and discs! From what I've seen on one or two modified MBS brakeboards they use ...

Alpine brakes are about the same effectiveness as a MBS V5 brake.. the only way you'll have a better brake is with a NoSno Hope Mini brake axle, or modify some hope mini's for an MBS channel truck (it's been done before).

i like it, looks fun. rideable without brakes? Maybe if your second name is Tatham.. but otherwise no, I dab mine twice, mainly for the right hand berm I almost lost it on! The surface is man made and too grippy to slide/scrub so yeah.. but a shitty MBS V5 brake on another of our team rider's board...

Launchpad Nightride Raw Run: 9's

My latest Nightride raw run, at Launchpad in Forest of Dean last Friday, 6th Feb 2015. Differs from the last raw as I have Striker 9's on instead of 10's and therefore was much quicker getting down! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/TsiOJ4CX-q0?rel=0" frameborder="0...

Best to begin with a Trampa or MBS without a brake so you earn to slide and carve, but if you have very long downhill runs, a NoSno Brakeboard is worth every penny, as the Trampa & MBS brake systems are terrible in compasion.

Front Snowboard binding angle

Recently I got less and less confident having my front foot of my Snowboard bindings at 16 degrees, for taking heelside corners, and I had no idea why.. Then it came to me that I've definitely picked up a bad habit from DH Longboarding. I changed the angle to just 8 degrees and suddenly it feels soo...

Surprised this hasn't got more views.. I guess the majority aren't interested in what a brakeboard can do better than a brakeless MBS/Trampa
