Could change the bushings in your ATS trucks. Go on motionboardshop and use the bushing selector. If the bushings you buy don't fit in precisely, you could always shim them down. Stock bushings are almost always garbage, IMO. Only stock RKP bushings I've liked have been in Ronin trucks (the casts)

I'd say that sounds like a good deal then. Throw the trucks on a blank board and you have a backup board if yours dies or you want to get somebody into mountainboarding!

I'd say it was more a matter of the width of the trucks, then. Some mountainboards use TKP (traditional kingpin) style trucks (like on a streetboard or longboard) while others use something akin to an RKP (reverse kingpin, like MBS Vector trucks, which are a zero degree RKP) only wider to accommodat...

Get some 4 inch wide PVC pipes for your rails. Super cheap. Home Depot near me also has wooden posts about 10 feet long and around 3 inches wide for 4 bucks. Probably would be good for a wood rail.

So, it's a cross between a casterboard and a skeleton sled?

So your wheels didn't grip and you slid out instead of turned? That's more to do with the duro of your wheel, as well as the shape. If you were using a harder duro, round lipped wheel you would slide easier, while soft, hard lipped wheels with a wide contact patch tend to grip. If you're talking abo...

Read the part about vector trucks being too wobbly. From what I saw with the trucks (one of my friends has them) they're just a zero degree RKP truck mounted on the angled part of the board (obviously) tightening the trucks, while it does somewhat hinder movement, it is bad for the bushings which ca...

Eh, didn't want to clog up the main forum with useless chatter. It was an easy enough fix to get them back in, I was just curious if anybody else had it happen recently.

Yeah sometimes tires are impossible to remove, it just sucks. Maybe sticking things in hot water or in the freezer? I inflated the tubes a tiny bit when sticking the halves of the hub in. Another problem I was having was that my bike pump was having trouble holding onto the valve while the tire was...

I feel this post is worthy of me double posting. First tire took an hour. Second took ten minutes. Ran into the biggest snag right after. Couldn't get the next two hubs to separate. Cleaned them off and all that. Still nothing. Started texting my friend about it and said "I'm seriously considering u...

Anybody have a walkthrough for replacing tires and tubes on a twistar hub?

Got my new tires. Can't get them on. Self-explanatory enough. MBS needs to really step it up with the directions on these. I know it's not rocket science, but I just can't get it to work. Never had this problem with a bike tube. Yes I got the tire apart. Got tubes in a new tire, can't get the hubs t...
