I'm late to the party

But want to share anyway... Capturing the end of a fun run is just the beginning of the next mountainboard adventure. Its that feeling you get of exhilaration and stoke, that gets you back up the hill and strapped to the bindings to do it all over again. And even when the days session comes to an en...

I don't think you are quite "too old" yet, however the body does take longer to heal. I hope you make a full recovery, and get back to that street style riding that we all LOVE :)

This last post was from a industry newsletter of my local Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA-SV) in Silicon Valley. They also inserted the photo of me catching air at the Chaos in Kansas event :)

More kick ass riding

I got to do a cub scout demo yesterday. The cubs got to learn to skateboard, and watch the mountainboard bowl demo. Fun was had by all :)

Finally kicked some ass on my board this past weekend. Spent about 3 hours at the local skatepark (Ben Lomond) Sunday, and another 3 hours at Calabazas BMX park yesterday. Feeling pretty sore and scraped up my back a bit. Planning on riding about twice a week from now on, to help get ready for Septe...

From my personal experience, the learning curve is a lot harder for surfing than for mountain boarding. The ocean is always changing, moving, and often very powerful. In 1993, I almost drowned after severely dislocating my shoulder, and getting caught in a heavy impact zone surrounded only by a rock...

Correction: this magazine issue will reach over 1 million kids!
We hit a home run with this one, and it opens the door to more scout reservations adding mountainboarding to their youth activity programs. I am currently pursuing Camp Pico Blanco to adding this into their summer program :)

Mountainboarding on magazine cover!

One of my students during last year's Boy Scout mountainboard activity. National recognition on a magazine that reaches hundreds of thousands youths :) I'm pretty stoked right now!

Starting to get back into skatepark mountainboarding sessions. Had a fun session last night, and stoked out the young local skaters with my above the coping rear tire grab air. I'll try to get videos or pics next week.

Yeah, this was probably one of the rarest TerraBoard models. I'm pretty sure this was the last one George made. I don't know how many got the adhered PT graphic, but I've only seen a few. I'm very stoked to get the brand new one (bindings never drilled or mounted) in my collection. And for $100 w/ s...

Anyone else buying vintage mountainboards?

I just can't seem to help myself. I've been mountainboarding for almost 20 years. I have an extensive collection of old boards and parts, but I still keep an eye out for good deals to add to my collection. Most recent find/buy is this new TerraBoard PT Pro model. http://www.surfingdirt.com/forum/pic...
