I would suggest the new comp 95 as a first board. You'll start out with a solid board and have lots of options to upgrade/ customize. I would search for a gently used board first. If you can find a comp 16 pro, pro 95, pro 100, or a trampa (anything with 35 degree tip angles) on craiglist they would...

I have Trampa heel straps and they come with nuts and bolts. I am sure MBS straps do as well. You cant attach heelstraps to f-3 and f-4 bindings with the nuts and bolts that are already on them because they are to short, so they include ones a bit longer with the straps. I bought Trampa straps becau...

I have them and like them a lot so far. They are super comfortable and my feet feel very secure. I am using them with heel straps. They feel almost as good as Nosno softs. unlike the 3's and 4's The strap comes across and pads/ supports the entire foot. There is no separate square shaped pad connect...

Found a Great deal on GI Wheels Ebay USA

I bought a set of wheels ( mak tires, tarantula hubs, tubes, and bearings) from this guy on ebay and it looks like he has more to sell. $50 plus shipping with tarantula hubs and $30 plus shipping for crossairs. He shipped fast and wheels look brand new. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=ground+in...

I doubt the few people riding Trampa boards in the US are giving theirs up. I know I'm not. You could order a new Holy Pro deck with grip tape and hardware from Trampa for $255 including shipping.

No first hand experience, but looked it up online. At 17 lbs. Its heavier than any board MBS currently makes. The 9" tires are going to make it harder to push. The old free flex bindings may not be great for his small feet. I'm not sure, but the distance between bindings may make for uncomfortable w...

Out of the three I have only used the Hillbilly ass pads. They are very comfortable. I could wear them all day. I had some butt pads I bought at a snowboard shop that felt like I was wearing a shit filled diaper. Or what I would imagine that would feel like.

My Holy Pro deck got delivered this morning. I highly recommend ordering through mountainboard.net . I was able to put on some Mbs trucks without a problem. I just had to drill some extra holes. Thanks Ryan

Quote from ebay- “Board is 100% intact from what I can tell, no telling if the cubes are cracked, ect. Never pulled it all the way apart. Worked great last season, cleaned and put away in a dry closet. Just listing as such so there is no doubt. ASK QUESTIONS” http://www.ebay.ca/itm/RARE-...
