Yeah - their website doesn't seem to be working... Do you have all your own gear or would you need to rent and/or take any lessons? IF you are just turning up to ride with your own board it shouldn't be very expensive. I would suggest having a session there - you should be able to meet a few people ...

Hi - I'm up in Preston so not that close...

What sort of riding do you do? Hale mountainboarding centre is near Chester and is pretty good and popular.

In that case Dave - £20 *wink*

Yup - have a search on here and there are some home-made mounts for alloy axles.myou can then get some mini moto rotors and calliper brakes or hydrolics. You'd prob need a cable splitter to make it operate with 1 hand. Been meaning to do it for a couple or years but not got round to it....

No worries - I have a load of boards if you wanted to meet up somewhere and give it a go again. I'll have a look at some maps and see if there's anything around your way - unless you know anywhere already?

Hi Elspedo - I am in Preston - which pretty much makes you one of about 3 riders in Lancs lol...

I have a little spot up near Longridge which is ok for free riding but with the lakes being so close, I head up there for downhill riding.

What sort of riding did you do? You still got a board?

I have the 661 armour that Erich has and wear it DH riding or when I am out by myself - I've never stacked and felt like its significantly protected my shoulders, but there are some pretty big gouges in them...so evidently they stopped a few nasty cuts and grazes.

I've barely had chance to ride this year - but I'll try and come along if I can. Somewhere central would be best.

Wow - looks pretty cool. I cant really see in the pics, how is the speed/brakes controlled? Be interested to see how much abuse it can take - the axles/steering looks pretty complex and I think the only axles I've never heard of breaking are NoSno Alloys (which are just a tube of metal...although I ...

You don't know if you can get bearings that fit in standard skate wheels, but are 10mm inside?

So I have a similar question - I have a longboard with XT wheels (the big offroad ones) that are on some standard crappy 8mm skate trucks. I wanted to swap the trucks out for some MTB skate trucks which are 10mm - any idea if that is possible and what bearings I need to look for?
