Hereford Board and Bike Park Practice

I headed over to Hereford Board and Bike Park to get some practice on the track before the first round of the ATBA UK nationals next weekend. The track was running pretty fast, the guys there have done a fine job digging the dirt. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/n...

Camp Bestival Thread

It looks like mountainboarding got some really good exposure at 'Camp Bestival', a music festival in the grounds of Lulworth Castle in Dorset, UK. So much good exposure I thought it deserved a thread of it's own (and haven't contributed here in way to long :P). So please post any media about the mou...

Landed a few frontside boardslides at Bugsboarding today and backside 180's off the kickers. I never used to be into freestyle but today was sweeet.

Yes I would say that's an intermediate level of riding. The great thing about Cleeve is that you can take the runs as fast or as slow as you like. There's not many trees to worry about!

Cleeve hill... so many lines. Randwick woods is another fave of mine. Both spots have so much variation from gentle slopes to steep gnar.

The MBS FX Pro Heel Straps do support ratchets but most stick with the cam lock. There's no point messing about with 4 ratchets every time you strap in and out, just set up the cam locks where you want them and your feet stay in the same place every ride.

'Like This' from the BFC was really good. It was paid for by sponsors so it didn't cost the customer a penny. I really respect what the BFC are doing, they are giving mountainboarding the right image with the media they release. Edit: Ah missed page 2 for some reason so didn't see it was an old thre...

I use a pair of Dainese shorts, similar to this model here: http://www.skiracing.co.uk/images/Dainese%20Racing%20Short%20protector.jpg They are thin, breathable and do not restrict the movement that mountainboarding requires. I've been very surprised at how effective they are considering the thickne...

If I'm hitting a steep trail for the first time I like to run a low pressure, you'll find you get a lot more grip as there is more surface contact with the ground. Once I'm confident with the trail I usually put more air in. The tyre pressure does make a difference to your speed as mentioned by comm...

I'm sorry you are getting so much flame 'Erislocker' but I guess he likes to 'shaker' things up. I hope you have not been put off using these forums by some of it's residents, it's brilliant to see some facts about the product from the inside. As a person who is open to new ideas I think the board l...
