Yes i had heard many people prefer the trampa > mbs bearings, however I didnt know there was an actual difference so I was not sure whether it would be worth getting a pack over continued washes and relubes. I suppose in theory the trampa ones are superior than as the Mbs are ABEC 5's. That said, I ...

Different kinds of bearings?

I have recently been questioning the lack of variety of 12x28mm bearings available for mountainboards.
The best that seem to be available are the standard ABEC 5's.
Is there really no option for upgrading bearings in our mountainboards?

Hmmm... Well I was thinking to get this guy and give him a new paintjob of my own artistic styling. Is it worth it? Can't really beat $40 dollar mountainboard and I hear some good things about grasshoppers. I assume the previous owner sanded off the old graphics. In doing so, they didn't remove any ...

I think I just stumbled upon an ancient mountainboard.

So I was looking through good ol' craigslist last night and found one of those multi-item posts that are essentially craigslist garage sales. Listed under it was $40 MBS Mountainboard. Thus of course I emailed the guy asking what line and he answered it had been a long time since he had stepped foot...

What exactly entails a large order? And not sure what would get me a discount either :O Nonetheless I took the time to clean out my bearing and put some speed cream on and oh boy, she feels like a bute' again. I was relly surprised by the impact, though I knew they needed a cleaning.

Yeah I would have assumed that it was a scam, just figured I'd throw it out there. :P Also about the 100 psi thing. I've wanted to throw the psi up unbelievably high, but I'm afraid of blowing it out or something crazy happening xD Also, anyone know where to get a TRAMPA here in the states? It's fai...

One sketchy mountainboard shop, and a question or two about ride speed.

So my girlfriend has taken serious interest in getting a mountainboard, and I myself can't settle with just one board. Thus, I've been looking around and stumbled upon this is (I hope outside links are okay?) http://www.kamlayangshop.com/ Are those prices too good to be true? I'd be all over those b...

Last time I checked I hit 174 and 6'. I will try to post pics if I can get them, the park is often quite crowded with bikers. When I hit the berm, I often find myself just going in for a stall and 180 dropping back in to the berm. As to grabbing the rail and body balance, I will have to play with th...

Yes I was thinking of definitely changing to dampas in the near future, but is it truly necessary to get yellow dampas to make such a turn? Also with my current setup my spring are all the way loosened as is.

Sharp Turns

I've been riding the local bike park jumps with my board lately, but I'm having trouble on the berms. I can't seem to turn hard enough. I'm using matrix pro trucks with orange eggshocks. Any thought's on this?

Very good to hear my friend! You let me know how solid that piece is! That board was highly anticipated. And when I get to it I'll be trying some other shoes myself and we will see how that goes... If you find "the perfect pair" of shoes, be sure to share :P Haha, might have to open a thread for thi...

I know I'm loving the truck flip on my long... When I starting to mess with freestyle I went right to flipping em and haven't looked back at all. It's better... but it still has much room for improvement.

My real question ends up being is perhaps how effective does a truck flip end up being? On a long, is it equivalent to a short board with extra tip length or is it still less effective than a short with regular trucks?

Unfortunate for me I wasn't able to calculate the shipping til now... Feel a bit silly now, but being in the states I don't think I'll be able to take it :/ Can't find a way to ship it here for under $60 :/ Probably should have thought about that one first... If I was in your area I'd swoop it right...

check out the pictures over at trampaboards.com . Look at the short vs long in comparison... it would seem the only difference between the short vs long is the drll pattern and how much theyve shaved off the tips.

@snowmonco: Agreed! I wish it could be simple... I have a pretty bad bruise on the side of my foot and that's not making it any easier :/ I will try some different shoes and such and get back to you on it. Though I'm not the man to have a ton of shoes. In fact. Right now I have this pair... and that...
