When not wearing pink fluffy slippers I tend to wear full walking boots (with ankle support). Riding barefoot hurts so much, don't do it.

They measure board lengths wrong! They should have two measurments, the distance between the inner truck holes (like they do on longboards) and the distance between the inner binding posts. Theoretically you could have a board a mile long, a wheel base of 2 inches and a foot platform of 8 inches. I'...

Link Only 60A, I think 80A would be better. Just like snowboard side walls (more and more companies are using PU over ABS) but a bit more flexible so it can conform to complex molds and provide more dampening. I can get away with softer rubber than snowboards because they don't have any pressure on...

Core with polyurethane side walls, I call them "Cheesy Rails". Super durable edges that seal the core and provide some vibration dampening. I have to go away for a few days, when I get back it should be fully cured and ready for pressing. http://www.surfingdirt.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=271&pict...

Alphas and T1s do the job but they're hardly the pinnacle of tyre design. Hopefully dirt scooters might throw out a few new designs for us to try. Poured some polyurethane yesterday (for the first time) into a mold I made to make rails for my boards (like snowboards, skis, kiteboards and the chubby ...

Just found out that tweels use polyurethane spokes, I could make some to fit onto mountainboard hubs, interesting. Not sure what shore hardness they are though, I'll try 80A.
