FOR SALE: Alpine Brake System

http://i48.tinypic.com/9awdae.jpg Hi everyone, I'm selling my ABS (Hydraulic) because I hardly use it and no longer have time to adjust it every time I want to reattach it.. It was originally sold to me by Nick Boxall (Who I believe is on these forums) for £130. I'm selling for £100 ONO as it's use...

WANTED: 9" Striker Tyre Set

Hi everyone, looking to buy a new or used set of Striker Tyres.. been wanting a good set of 9's for downhill for some time. Don't want to pay £59 for a new set with inner tubes on ATBShop as I have tubes and mbs tri-spokes already. £13 each on extreme kite shop (£52).. so I guess the max I'd want to...

Love my set of roadies on twistars, I'd say 10-20% faster downhill on concrete paths too! (as apposed to T3's). Obviously though, you take them on wet grass and as soon as you turn you start sliding lol.. very fast in a straight line though, maybe the turning off road would be better if I had it les...

180 Grab Tips?

Hi Everyone, just wondered if anyone had any pointers on how I can grab quicker on rolling spins? (Only really started them a few weeks back) Cheers. Video is below, embed help would be good. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/fAjuqUCOITg?feature=player_detailpage" fr...

19.. Only really started riding when I was 18 and that was off my own back, which is weird considering Cleeve Hill is the birthplace.

If you don't have a friend to hand.. these double clamps for £12 are as good if not better! http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001DZQ3HA/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00

They apply 70KG of force (heavier than me) so you can't really go wrong!

Some skaters have their back truck tighter than their front. Personally i ride with my springs slightly compressed. Just generally all over, to b...

MBS Pro Trucks Suspension Question

Hi Everyone, Just wanted to ask the question 'What happens when you have the MBS Pro Trucks Suspension at different tensions on each end?'. May be a stupid question, but I'd only say I'm an intermediate rider. I've literally only ever tried having the 4mm hex suspension keys fully up (for carving) o...

if you brake them again (no pun intended) then it is worth investing in a longer length of goodrich steel braided hose when you have them rebuilt. I've not had any leaks after 7 years with my nosno system. Dave at nosno may be able to do the repair with steel hose for you too (he's not far off the ...

Bought the last one of these on Ebay (£130) off Nick Boxall a few months back for my Matrix trucks. So many hours adjusting it and getting used to it.. but it is simply amazing! Can stop me completely on pretty steep hills no matter how slippy the terrain is. One downfall is that the cables with the...
