Using something like the rc controller is a good idea, it acts like a dead man's switch on a train so if you drop the controller or come off the board for any reason the throttle is released? On a similar note did you fit or program a failsafe? (so that the throttle is cut when you lose signal from ...

The comp 95 will do you nicely bud. Good all round entry level board with a brake option if you feel the need.

37... Only been mountainboarding for a year and love it and try to get out riding most days. At last I found a sport suited to what we have in scotland, hills, dirt and no jobs.

That was my first summer mountain holiday, never expected half of the stuff that was there. I was expecting it to be all quiet picture postcard stuff but it was much better. Convert one of the access roads to a massive BX track and add some features for jibbage here and there and that would be my id...

The set up for the summer visitors when I was there a few years back was pretty close to what you posted earlier; All the runs open and served by the ski lifts, summer skiing/boarding on a Glacier, skatepark, bike skills park, golf course, big kickers into air bags, paragliding, canyoning, sailing. ...

Suspension Trucks

I have been reading up on this idea on the forums over the last few weeks and seen some very cool ideas and designs. Has anyone tried progressive coil springs or multiple rate dampers?
I'm not so mouch thinking about suspension as such more trying to reduce wobble.

If the bearing is tight or broken try heating the hub a bit by immersing it in a bowl of hot water for 5 minutes or so. That should make the hub expand a little if it is metal or get a little more flexible if it is plastic.

Cheers Dave, shame the centre never got off the ground, Glendevon is not far from my hoose. I was up at the Perth track a couple of weeks ago for the first time expecting the usual half arsed cooncil effort but it was much better. Is the park getting extended?

MBS Comp or Pro range, Trampa, No Sno, are the most popular. Try Ebay or similar, loads of people take up the sport then scare or hurt themselves and sell their kit so there are plenty of bargains to be had. Also be sure to pad up properly with decent quality protective gear, you will be glad you di...
