i would say stiffer decks for freestyle and softer decks for freeride and such where you want the board to flex a bit to deal with bumps, whereas a stiff deck provides nice pop for jumping, the same as a skateboard. If you mainly plan on motorising your board, i would suggest a trampa as you can dri...

imagine this on the base of a snowboard, better than wax? Also what about on skateboard grip tape? it might affect grip a bit if applied after its been made but if u soaked the sand and the paper and stuff before its all put together you could skateboard in the rain if you painted the deck too. Also...

personally i opt for a long metal pole and stick it in between the spokes of my front wheel hub when riding, works pretty good. "Would it hurt the fun of scrubbing?" Not really, ride with a brake, scrub for normal braking and use your brakes in emergency situations, or just use a brake for the whole...

Just been to a field round the back of my house. It's on quite a steep hill, but the snow combined with the fact that it's really bumpy (I think there's cows in there for half the year), meant that it was pretty much unridable. Only managed to ride about 20 metres, but even that made me grin from e...

Thanks Jasper, loving the youtube vids, they've been really helpfull. Gunna watch a few again before I go out tomorrow. Also, just a heads up (you probably know this already) the dirty wheels video won't play, something to do with the music copyright. Not sure if it's something you can fix easily, ...

http://www.youtube.com/0nedayproductions few vids on there. What McCarver said. If your board has heel straps, use them! If not, please for the love of god dont take your foot out the bindings and step off the board whilst its going. If for some reason you panic and dont do a J turn, grab the middl...

personally riding with 661 knee gaskets, anarchy elbow pads (worn sometiems), hillbilly full finger gloves and hillbilly butt pads + protec lid. u may think u might not need the butt pads but i use (fall) on them the most and hitting a root/rock with your tail bone can be no fun. spend a good amount...

i definatley relate to the 'never make it as a good rider, maybe one day' and i always see riding at such a level as a future goal in the distant future. But i always try to have fun and not keep trying at somthing really difficult or scary but come back to it later as i just ride for fun. It takes ...
