Slickrock was pretty sketch IMO but bartlett wash is a mountainboarders dream. If you are going to live/ride moab I recommend throwing down on the most expensive board you can, a used Leon Pro or TK Pro from MBS should do the trick.

I had a friend who used and swore by them when the technology was pretty new which was about 14 years ago. They were awesome in theory but I saw him having issues from time to time getting them to lock and unlock.

I do like how portable they seem. Anyone who has ever been backpacking with a mountainboard will probably agree with me that those things are pretty damn cumbersome to lug around.
