You already know how to mountainboard. Best way to stop is still the powerslide (on not asphalt). It feels a bit scary until you get used to it but after that it just turns into a badass looking showstopper. For your discipline a longer deck would be a bit more useful. Honestly picking a mountainboa...

Something like a cool backpack yes. I prefer to have both my hands free when I travel, so a backpack that could secure the board comfortably without it hitting me in the head or making it an impediment in crowds or tight places would be great. Right now I tie the trucks and board to the back of a tr...

Isn't there a dude sponsored to ride these? Popped up on my news feed. Just by how they look, they seem iffy I would love to see them evolve into a sort of waveboard hybrid. Maybe on the lines of a dirtsurfer? I'm picturing one with some sort of torsion middle Also they look like they're made out of...

It happened again!
Back in 2011 when I joined this forum I was looking for alternatives to fix or replace a broke binding. 2 weeks ago this happened: * Linked to Imgur because size http://imgur.com/rjCglcu I got so pissed about it I went all Bill Murray http://www.quickmeme.com/img/24/24a0cdd89d264d278cf3eb716b30db612...

It was winter last year I think, there was an airbag set up in the parking lot of a mall for snowboarders and bikers. There was no drop in so they used a winch for the snowboarders to pick up speed(there was no snow they were riding carpet). I managed to get approval to use it with my mountainboard....

Between the two I would personally choose the Trampa. Why: Comp series, if I remember correctly is made out of powerlam (a beefed up skateboard) while Trampa boards are made of that material that seems indestructible. For what you need, MBS might be better. Is's a bit longer and that offers you bett...

Oh so durable!
"MBS trispokes! Mountainboarding's most durable hub!" My ass. I just flipped a bit, did a sketchy landing and I blew off a piece off one of the brand new hubs. Rode with them 3 times. Getting parts here is a huge pain since there is no local dealer (*anymore). Lucky part is that the hub is still usa...

Board maintenance questions
Yay, I'm finally getting some new parts. Question: how do I know if my eggshocks are worn? I don't know if I should change them or not. same with springs. I know for certain that i have one bent and they feel a bit lax. also this is the full setup after the pats arrive. I think I just created the he...

Help me learn a new trick
I am finally mentally prepared to tackle backflips. Seriously I can land 540's and I can't do backflips because i'm terrified of them. I think it also had something to do with the fact that I had no medical insurance for the past year and a half. Anyway I want to start with a flip on a quarter pipe....
