Yeah he could be. Also if he's used to riding skate boards then he'll find a matrix truck stiff. The resistance is needed at speed though, if he starts going faster then he'll probably appreciate the added resistance. one of the guys i used to ride with had his board on a really soft setting because...

It does work without the eggs, but then it won't be as stable at speed. The eggs dampen the rebound of the springs, this adds more resistance but it also reduces speed wobble because the truck isn't trying to bounce around on back and forth when going fast over bumpy terrain. Perhaps he needs to cle...

I was wondering why no one has said anything about it yet. I don't know when they come out but the new trucks look great, I saw them Remolition . They look like a more sophisticated version of the springless matrix setup. so they have the responsiveness of the channel truck but the carvy feel of nos...

I had an idea for adding suspension to a board without changing the truck. Basically instead of the tip being a constant angle, have the whole tip on a hinge attached to a spring. That way up and down vibrations are independant from the boards steering, so of. i suppose if you lean more forwards you...

Thanks Flexboardz, This board would make a perfect platform for a motorised mountain board. because of how the wheels are mounted there room for driveshafts to get the the wheel and plenty of room between chassis and deck from batteries and electrical things. It would be interesting if the deck part...

That board looks pretty cool. Its quite clever how it steers using a board that pivots on a chassis. i suppose a board like this is best suited to downhill, but i'm not sure how well it would hold up to tougher riding, and it might be fairly heavy. Still looks like a good step in the development of ...
