Might be easier to learn how to early grab depending on what you were riding.

Not if you stack it going over. Might burn a bit. However multifunctional ramps may be a good idea. Skate it all day then cook dinner on it.

Noice. Should convert one to a BBQ as well. Grab a burger on the way over.

Non Standard Bearings & Hubs

I went a whole year with no punctures and then get three in two weekends. Nothing unusual but I'm down to one spare tyre and there is a kite event this weekend. I remembered that I had the old Exit board skate trucks, hubs and tyres in the shed. The tyres are standard 200x50 although they do look th...

You'll only notice a difference in a higher ABEC rating if you're bearings are spinning at over 20,000 RPM. If they are I want to see you ride. Proper cleaning and lubrication will make more of a difference although I haven't tried the new Trampa ones.

I did a comparison between my longboard set ups and my mountain board. The mountain board trucks are way tighter, not physically but in terms of how much effort it takes to turn them. I've had them looser but found them too unstable. Harder dampas and looser trucks may be the way forward. T3's look ...

I don't know why I said Trampa Matrix they are Infinity trucks. I might just get both to go with my collection of bushings.

So should I go green or red Trampa Dampas and then loosen off the trucks some?

Cheers guys. I like the yellows but I've always thought they might be a bit soft. I ride my longboards real loose but the mountain is probably a bit too tight. I'll try some different tyres. I've got some splinter type things in some that are giving me a butt load of trouble. I'll work on pendy's on...

Primo Alphas on Trampa Matrix with yellow dampas kind of not loose or tight because I'm 200lb and with the soft dampas it turns easy enough.
Does "loose trucks save lives" apply to mountain boards.

Coleman is a skating term for what effectively is a heel side slide. Jasper, that's pretty much what I was doing/trying to do it as soon as I I intimated the slide she swung all the way round past 180 so no time to control her. I wasn't even pushing the rear foot out just leaning backward and carvin...

Shutdowns

After sorting out multiple punctures I went to try and practice Coleman's and shut downs. Grassy hill. Not long and a metal fence across the end. Not great but its all I've got locally and the fence is great motivation to stop. I was out longboarding yesterday and I was getting Coleman's and Coleman...

Mine arrived today. This is what I got: http://www.rawk.com/p10237/phase-two-radtke-dirt-scooter-new/ I won it in a competition so I didn't pay for it and I'm in no way affiliated with the company who made it or I won it from. First impressions are that its bloody sturdy. A lot more than I expected....

The boy has learnt about rights of way. I got fed up with him cutting me up on my longboard. If he does it now he gets a slide glove tap on the head.

I assumed you knew about it. The best place to start with would be the photographer who took the original photo. If they licensed it on they should know who to. If they didn't they are entitled to be paid for they're work. You might be depending on you're arrangement with the photographer. There can...

So it looks like its €140 for the kit but that doesn't include discs, spacers and the final bits you need and from what I can make out its just a rubber pad pressing onto the disc? My German is useless so I could be missing something but wouldn't that end up being not far off the price of a Tra...

Without a doubt he will get a better time than me unless I can count sliding on my a**e all the way down to get a time. The first thing I thought when they told me I'd won it was "where am I going to get replacement 5 inch inner tubes?" 55.5x12.5cm deck. Not sure I'll get my big feet on it but it mi...

Believe it or not I shall soon be the proud (?) owner of one of these: http://www.rawk.com/p10237/phase-two-radtke-dirt-scooter-new/ I won it in a competition. If it can take my weight I will give it a try out. If not the boy will be riding it at Bradbury Clumps for round 3 even if he doesn't want to.
