Belac, not a fan of the MBS system then?

I've just had an email from Ted. You need the truck as it is CNC modified for the Magura system to fit onto it.

I've ordered some Superstar hubs but then I will need to buy a kite board before upgrading to the Trampa brake system.

I would rather have the Trampa set up but they only sell with the additional truck which I don't need and an extra £20 for vented discs. Now if its £200 for the Magura set up plus one Infinity truck (£60) I'm hoping that they will sell me the brake system alone for £140. Well that's what I've asked....

MBS Matrix on Trampa

Search is throwing up too many results. Long and short is to put MBS Matrix on a Trampa drilled for Infinities does it require some redrilling or is it a straight swap? Also any thoughts on the V5 brake kit? Not as good as the Trampa I guess but cheaper to swap to? Anyone know if anyone has any UK s...

Got the rest of the family on their bikes and headed over to Danbury for a bit of last minute practice for next weekend. The common was still too wet but the country park was good. Some decent but fairly short runs. Got used to the full face though. Stopping and sliding no problem. Tried some tight ...

Weight should be on the front foot. That will allow you to balance better and give you better control of the board. I guess you have learnt that the hard way by now. You'll be pleased to know it doesn't take long to overcome what your body already thinks it should do. Have a quick look here: http://...

Hunting dogs tend to enjoy this sort of thing and it keeps them fit. I'd get a lid and some wrist guards on as well. It's the one time you're more likely to fall face first if it all goes wrong.

Get some photos once he is all trained up. It would be good to see him in action. Have fun.

Make sure you don't catch him or the lead up. A lead wrapped around a wheel will stop you sharp ish. A harness is preferred for the dog over a collar.

Leap you take them. I'm still only thinking about a brake board and I'm cash poor at the moment.

I'm looking to see if I can come up with a quick change solution so I can keep one board for kiting and use it as a brake board if necessary.

Location would be a good idea. If you're serious and want to spend the money we are going to say a Trampa/MBS depending on where you live. As for footwear I'm sure there is an old thread on it somewhere but a lot of people where trainers. Just mucking about and general heel strap less riding I wear ...

Good job I didn't get a go one them. So when Trampa call them the Rolls Royce did they mean Rose Royce?

I have Infinity trucks. The V5's are significantly cheaper than the Trampa ones. Might be able to adapt them to infinity trucks and Hypa's hubs.

The 661 Comp Shifted 2013 arrived today. Good looking helmet but the XL was very tight and too tight across the top of my forehead. Sent in back in the end as I could have lasted one run and I would be constantly taking it off. Had this with my first helmet and I never wore it in the end. The XL is ...

Meh sold. How hard would it be to make a set? The discs and mounting bolts are cheap enough. I'd either have to redrill the discs to fit the Hypa's or swallow the cost of new hubs. I'm assuming the cable and lever is the same as a bicycle so that could be made up easily onto some sort of handle. The...

I'll ask him. Still means I can't use one board for both kiting and mountains which would be a pain.

I have too much road rash to contemplate riding gravel and concrete without a better way of stopping.

I used a variety of slides. Started with my longboarding fav 180 TS then 180 HS and the shut down. Couldn't get down enough for a proper Coleman. Leap are you bringing the brake board to Screaming Goat? If you are I'll give it a try. I was thinking of trying to get to more events this year but I fig...
