According to the description they are making more room in the museum and have better exhibits to put in its place.

My tyres are Primo Alpha Lites. It was on wet grass/mud hence probably why I did slide so far for such a low speed. I was kind of doing 180 heel side stink bugs, initially I did just go 180. Would have looked cool if I could have got my lardy arse back up and ridden away switch. I'm so used to longb...

Emergency Stopping.

So today I actually went out and practiced stopping. I've done heel side slides to stop before but I've never actually practiced them. It's still supper wet and muddy and there's no decent hills around but I found a spot just about suitable. I was surprised how far I went before I actually stopped. ...

I'm a little bit less than you weight wise and the same height and I ride a 35 short 15 ply. I used to be 20 stone and ride a 35 long 17 ply. You'll struggle to get flex out of the 17 long at your weight. Probably best to go for the 16 if you want some flex. I'm fairly certain as said above its a st...

That's a good question. Could be a good papery unity to get some new people into the sport.

Sad days. I've yet to visit any centres as that are a bit of a trek. Hopefully those left will last. I was looking forward to popping over to Ivyleaf whilst on holiday this year. The costs must be high but unseen. If I win a fortune on the lottery I'll open one and run it at a loss just for the love.

My wife is a fantastic girl but I'm only getting the hotel because of my age and I'll probably need it. Local hotels are full so it will probably be one in Portsmouth. Nothing to do with her going shopping there or anything.

The wife has vetoed the campsite due to the lack of toilets. Luckily for me its my birthday that day so she has decided to treat me to a hotel instead.

A bit of a result. Muddy fun during the day and a nice warm bath at night. Looking forward to it.

I've got a pass for rounds 1 & 3. Might compete if I can get some riding in before hand. If not I will be there for photos and beers.

I saw it on chain reaction. It's not a bad price to pay to save my head and face, just couldn't justify £200 for a top of the range one.

You might have to make some room in the masters class for the DH events this year if I can get some practice in.

I was looking at the Comp Shifted 2013. It's about £55 in XL. Looking at the website its comparable to my Bern Watts XL so should be fine. Just a shame I can't try one on before I buy.

I take it the Comps are fine for mountain boarding?

Fat Head Full Face Recomendations?

Thinking about riding a bit harder trails and possibly even competing as well as DH longboarding and time has come to think about getting a full face. However I have a very large head so I would be looking for something around the 62 cm range. Preferably a cheaper model (I know you get what you pay ...

I don't ride my LY Switch because its a beast to lug around. Wouldn't fancy riding anything heavier.

Trampa/Lush combo would be light and when it gets mashed just file out the burrs.

I'm looking on the phone so its hard to tell but are they somehow mounted horizontally rather than vertically? That might make things interesting when he finds that out powered up.

I just saw the photo ATBShop put on FB. I'd be pretty interested in giving it a ride before parting with any cash for it. Personally I'm still working on the Lush/Trampa mash up I have in my mind.
