Yea I know haha, the design is pretty neat. If I don't sell it, I'm probably going to get some new springs and see if I can rig up some breaks.

For Sale: Vintage MBS Reactor

I really don't want to get rid of this board because of how unique it is but I just recently had the urge to get something a bit better so I'm selling this to fund for a new board. What we've got is a piece of mountainboarding history right here. This Reactor is identical to the MBS Charger, but it'...

Duct tape for what? Holding the springs in?

I would do that, but I'm not in too much of a rush to ride it. Plus, duct tape sometimes leaves that sticky residue behind, and I don't want to get any of that on this ride...

Yea, the holes in this thing are about 9" apart.

I'm going to keep the ergo bars on for now, I'm not that big into mountain boarding and there's not a lot of places around here to do it, so I don't want to spend that much on this board just yet...

Well I think I'll just keep the ergo bars on. They are original and like you guys said, I don't want to be drilling new holes in the board. I just took it out, too. First ride down the hill was fun, but the second ride I got speed wobble and took a little spill. The springs in the front both popped ...

I'm used to snowboard bindings, and now that you said it, I might get some...

Thanks for the help guys. I am probably going to keep the board for a while and ride it before the snow hits the ground, but at least I know what it is now Also, thanks for the tips on the springs, Mikael. I actually tried putting the springs on the inside position once, but because of the condition...

Yea, it's in pretty good shape, just the usual scuffs and scratches.

I was thinking of selling it earlier but I might just get some new springs and keep it...

Help Identifying a Mountain Board...

Hey, I bought this mountain board off a friend a few years ago for $50. I tried it out a few times and it's pretty damn fun. It's been sitting in my basement for the past year so I thought I'd take it out, blow the dust off, and get it ready for next spring... Anyways, I really can't find any inform...
