If she rides at a centre she will have to use either a leash or heel straps. A leash would be a better idea while she is learning

What board does she normally ride when you hire one?

A scrub psycho would be a good begginer board for her age and size :) http://www.atbshop.co.uk/mountainboards/scrub-psycho-mountainboard#.UkiJZYbryns

this happened to a friend of mine, make sure you crank down the bolts of the truck so they are touching the egg.

Its a pretty cool idea, defiantly something i would like to see pop up some time.

If it worked properly i can see it being awesome for freeride. All those who have had to cut i good session short due to a puncture will know what i mean

Would it be different to hitting a bump on a normal wheel?

I think that cornering would be interesting, those things look like they could get a little bendy

I think someone had already designed this for a mountainboard.

Kiteboarding in the UK?

So while 'revising' I've been watching loads of kiteboarding videos and now i fancy a crack at it.

Unfortunately i don't have the funds to buy a new setup, kite, harness and whatever else you need :(

Any ideas where i could have a go without having to get loads of new gear?

I think brittle was a little harsh, i've found MBS ladders to be much stronger.

Never used the MBS FX 2's but i have found that while most trampa stuff is real solid, their ladder straps can be a little brittle
