Coban Mountainboard Track, Guatemala

Post by DirtBlogger » Sun May 03, 2009 4:18 pm

While the rest of his paisanos were at the beach for "Holy Week" our Latin American brother-in-dirt Antonio Vasquez and his mountainboard-riding buddies(Team MBSGT) spent their vacations shoveling dirt to further the cause of our beloved sport of Mountainboarding.

What started as a one meter wide single track....

..... soon became a 2.4 meter wide track, much longer and steeper than before.

Its unfortunate that Semana Santa ended before they could finish, but Im pretty sure that with the amount of determination these guys have displayed that we can expect some pretty good thing from our "hermanos" in Guatemala.

If you would like to learn more about mountainboarding in Guatemala or the Coban Pista you can check out Antonio's blog HERE

No se preocupe hermano, your English is fine, pero somos una multicultural entonces puedes hablar en Español, French, English, o puedes inventar una nueva si quieres. Personally I prefer to speak in Dirty Spanglish.

Mountainboarders Unite!
