Have to admit I've already been looking at other boards ! I'd really like one a lit lighter as I'm only lil and a lighter one would make it much easer for me !

Depending on the terrain it might be worth saving up for a No Sno and going with Dave's suggestion. They must all ride them for a reason?
Other than that it's got to be a Trampa! Thought I'd get in there first.

Trampa
Allowing even fat blokes to ride since 2000...

Alanna - already spoke to you on facebook but sunday the 16th in stirling should be a good bet I think my parents should of brought my board up by then, if you have a spare at the moment I'm free all the time at the moment and I'll happily show off :P a nosno up here is a very good investment btw near glasgow though I'm not sure on spots but there is this place
http://www.lagganoutdoor.co.uk/page203.htm
there is a load to ride in stirling and around the area though

it's ok you don't need light to ride by, and I recommend swapping the channel (spring) trucks on to the scrub deck.

Could be mistaken but I think this "dude" is in fact a lady...
@alannajax Welcome to SD and this marvellous sport. As to finding riding buddy don't despair, you will for sure find them in no time in Scotland. Where I live is a lot worse.

We are trying to meet up at the pitch and putt track in Perth on the 21st of October. Try to join the "mountainboard scotland" group in facebook for more info!

Hey everyone, just joined the forum. I have ridden mountainboards in the past but now I'm on my dirtsurfer. it's fairly similar but totally different at the same time. I hope ya won't shun me for this

I am in Scotland too, just been about on a few wee trails near my house. Theres not much locally here but I've been up Fort William in Edinburgh a few times and theres some amazing forest trails in Stonehaven, near to where I live in the North East. There's also a great public mountainboard track in Perth (I forget exactly where and I havent been in a while so I hope it's still as good as it was!)
If anyone is about in the Dundee/Aberdeen area and knows of some good spots, let me know and I will do the same. Thanks guys!
