Has anyone checked out the boarding centre in Halifax?

Is it worth the trip over, i'm only in Leeds so it ain't a huge trek but it does seem to be the closest to me unless anyone knowa of a secret one any closer?

http://mountainboarding.co.uk/
Another World Mountainboard Centre, Keighley Road, Ogden, Halifax HX2 8XD.

Website currently states, "Please NOTE we are now CLOSED for mountainboarding Please Contact us for more info."
I've not heard that they had closed, maybe they mean closed for winter season, open soon?

They are on FB and have been doing loads of snowboarding with the recent weather. I'm tempted to have a wander over one day and see what its like.

What i do know about them is that they are only open for mountain boarding in the spring/summer and that they can be a bit hit and miss on opening as i think they are mainly a working farm and i think they also grow christmas trees so can be a sesonal place.

They are on t'internet and there is photos but it doesn't really show anyone riding or much to be honest ehich was why i was wondering if it was worth the crack,

May just brave it one time and report back

If ur in Leeds check out the mini downhill bike track at temple newsham, it's not a bad little spot, used to hit it when I lived in York.

With that website URL (http://mountainboarding.co.uk), Another World Mountainboard Centre should have the best website around as it'll be close to the first port of call for a lot of people googling mountainboarding. It is however beyond awful and is therefore damaging to mountainboarding on the whole. boo.

You're right Dan. Pretty lame. Even I can do better in a few hours and this kind of programming is not my field.

Not been yet just noticed it was open on website and on facebook.

Will be going in a few weeks when this snow disappers, though they are open for snowboarding, skiing.

Looking forward to going though as it's only an hour from me as well, and in fact i'm working just 5 miles from it at the mo so might be a few cheeky evening rides coming up soon
