Mountainboarding in Lancashire?

Post by elspedo » Sun Feb 02, 2014 4:10 am

Hi guys,

I used to mountainboard about 8 years ago during college but discovered other vices and sold my board, the other day I got round to thinking about doing it again and just wondering if there is anybody doing anything in the Lancashire (i'm in Accrington) area?

Cheers

Hi Elspedo - I am in Preston - which pretty much makes you one of about 3 riders in Lancs lol...

I have a little spot up near Longridge which is ok for free riding but with the lakes being so close, I head up there for downhill riding.

What sort of riding did you do? You still got a board?

Evening,

Didn't do anything too special, a local school had a single track MTB course so used to spend a lot of time on there.

Got rid of my board, been scouting ebay for a decent trampa one again but fancied trying it out again before shelling out.

No worries - I have a load of boards if you wanted to meet up somewhere and give it a go again. I'll have a look at some maps and see if there's anything around your way - unless you know anywhere already?
