There was a lot of slo-mo in the full length.

The edited version definitely puts it in a better light.

hey Eric have you ever built anything with upper and lower controll arms to help keep the wheels perpendicular to the ground? It looked like they go a little squirly sideways under braking

I warned you.Though I did flub the edit.:o

Over engineering is what I do.

ODB, I stared at a quad front suspension for days trying to apply that technology to a dirt board. I came to the conclusion that the swing arm also had to be a steer knuckle accomplished by rotating the swing axis from zero to 45 degrees. A dual arm would keep the wheel straight, but I couldn't figure a way to steer? Your mock up kicks ass.

The spring suspension is very interessant, because you don't have woobble! So if springs are flex, sometimes wheel can tuch your foot.
Since the first test in St Pierre, i ride with front hard springs for have rigidity and keep control in high speed, and rear flex springs for easy carve.
Middle wheel as a rear MTBike suspension is know for my wheight.
The new way of DH mountainboard!

Fabian injured his knee in time trials. It seems the Vegas hubs couldn't take the tire pressure for this track. His completed time record would have placed him third. http://www.surfingdirt.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=219&pictureid=2536
Fabian's fb quotes;
Back to Bardonecchia Super route for the world championships in 2011, a maximum of fun and speed with trainings, and a knee in bulk! And a frustrated spectator.
Too bad my knee was not at the top for the race! yet I enjoyed myself and that's the point. Now doctor and rest!

DXB World Tour

Post by Eric Briner » Wed Aug 24, 2011 6:10 pm

Fabian has finished his evaluation of the DXB in France and is working on a comprehensive report on design refinements, mostly weight reduction.
I contacted Chris at pigyd hoarseboarding in Rhyl UK, who has courageously accepted my invitation for further testing. This is a branch of the evolution that I had not previously considered.

If you decide to shed a few pounds and use a 12" bike tire and rim instead of a pit bike tire, let me know I've got more than I'll ever use.

I've had failures on composite 8" rims. I think spokes would be better, still a maintenance issue. need a hub that would support a brake. I'll be in touch. more experimenting. What are the stress limits on dirt boarding. I don't have an idea. Work!

Dude. He bumped you. Dangle some of mount's spam trinkets from the nose of the DXB.

There seems to be a sudden surge in registering members with user names being added in alphabetical progression.

Are we under attack McC?
