Ok guys and gals question for you all. I would like to know everyone's view on powder coating my hangers yellow.

will crack and chip from the first rock you hit or grind you do. but it should be quite cheap and look sweat as so.... your call.

sounds about right. to the best of my knowledge the toughest combo for paint is epoxy base and polyurethane top coat. also gloss finish paints tend to bond better and are 'stronger' than matt

Thinking about it its goin to be more hassle than its worth stripping down then having to set them back up again

i think you should go for it with the powder coating, will look pimp as hell and i bet the only area that will wear will be the 'grind surface'. what colour where you thinking?

ahhh good point! forgot it was aluminum. i dont really work with aluminum much but im pretty sure this maybe a big issue as most PC is done at high temp's although ive heard there are new PC types with lower baking temp's

I have friends who had parts for their cars like anti-roll bars powder coated using a cool process, I don't think it cost much more than the normal type and it seems to be pretty tough, worth looking into.
