new mbs truck review please

Post by tornadoB » Tue Feb 23, 2016 9:45 am

Anyone tried the new MBS trucks? I am just interested in street carving so turning radius and lean angles are what I am most interested in.
Thanks
B

If you want tight surf-style carving. The old-style inside spring/egg/bushing position is needed. Looks like the new trucks only have the equivalent of the old-style "outside" spring position for their new elastomer based suspension system -- this would not likley be as responsive as the standard old matrix "inside" spring position.
However, I haven't ridden the new system. So this is just speculation based on my experience with old inside spring/egg position and carving responsiveness

Bryan you should try the new trucks with yellow blocks if you get a chance. Best carving I've had on a mountainboard. Responsive but more stable than springs.
