So what's the story behind your posting handle?
Any hidden meaning behind the handle you use to post here at SurfingDirt? Are you more well known for a handle other than the one you use here?

When I was at uni I worked in a cinema and me and a friend used to kill time by playing the the six degrees of seperation game and got pretty good at it (being film geeks) - to the point where we can link literally any 2 actors within 6 moves.
I always thought it would be a cool name for a band - but ended up using it as a handle before I had chance to use it in a band.

^ I like the big tooth story the best
I came up with my handle when I was first looking into getting started mountainboarding, when I found theDBX Message board I needed a handle to start asking questions about getting the right board. I already was in love with carving up the slopes on a snowboard, almost as much as I loved eating McRibs. Two completely awesome things that you could only enjoy for a short time each year. That's when I decided on a handle that would reflect the positive mojo all year long.
The good news is that I now can carve it up all year long, bad news is that the McRib still only comes once a year..

Back in '97, Kevin and I started DIRTHEADS MountainBoarding. Shortly after that, I had to be a part of this whole world wide web craze. So I had to come up with a handle for an e-mail account. "DIRTHEAD" was taken so I added a "B" to the front for Baker. I've been known as BDirthead for many years on several forums. (Sorry I didn't have a better story)
Whatever, So who was just "Dirthead"?

I'm not sure, but I know there is a band called DIRTHEADS, maybe its one of the band members. We have had offers from people wanting to purchase our website (http://www.dirtheads.com) There is also a MotoCross apparel company called Dirthead.
Gotcha, but you think a member of that band would have already had a handle on a mountainboarding forum? Because Im assuming you are talking about when you signed up for the DBX right? Or you talking AOL and all that stuff?
Sorry about the smartass "Whatever" in my last post, I swear there was more to that sentence, you can actually tell by the capitalization of the "S" after the comma.

Gotcha, I trade handles a lot across the internet, but Ive pretty much always used McCarver for mountainboard sites. You are the only Dirthead on this site, so you can keep or drop the B as you see fit big daddy.
