well it starts with an idea.

so i see tk throw some nose pics on qps and i said thats awesome i want to try

next i ask myself what can i do to have a better chance of landing it or sticking it the first time. so example would be practice flatland manuals but rotate 90 mimicking the nose pic.

after that i would try it on a smaller set up. or just something u are comfortable with. so id throw a nose pic on a curb or something i can jib.

after i have that down solid id throw it on a qp.

basically i explained what ive been practicing for awhile now. next time at the skatepark im going to try some.

i get an idea and if there's a good chance that it won't break my neck, i'll go for it. That's one reason i haven't tried flips yet. Like 360's, i started learning them off a qp to flat, than went to the kicker. Grab's, i just try and go for it. The tail pick i just went for it in the mini. I guess mine's more based of gut instincts.

I usually try it, crash... Then I know exactly what I need to do to land it... Painful, but it works :D

If I think about trying something too much I generally bottle it. So I normally have an idea of the sort of tricks I wanna try on any given day but don't really commit to anything 'till I'm pretty much at the point of no return.

Okay this is really trippy for me. I cannot understand why spins are considered so hard. just 2 basic rules to follow to land them. "your body follows your head" and "twist with your arms"
