that jumppark in the photo is about a 5 hour jorney from my place mcc. we snowboard quite nearby most years so i'll go and check it out next time. they've got gondala serviced downhill tracks as well that look prety tasty for dirtboarding. the trick apparently is to try and beat the gondola down and then catch the same one back up:cool:
this was a comp done at the gorge last weekend, very nuts riding. if only it was on a slight hill.

Found a path like that at Iceland, it had 50 hairpins but much closer together, and it was down a mountain made entirely of ash, the biggest in the world. Why didn't I take my board?!? Where is that?

futaventura apparently. always wanted to go there when i was in europe, meant to be massive surf when it works.
iceland is very on my bucket list. love the fact the people there belive certain rocks are living beings and have been known to divert highways around them rather than disturb them.
theres a snow resort (snow park/snow farm) over here with a mean switchback track coming down the mountain from it. its where they secretly test cars coming out in 5 years time and things like new tyres. next time i'm down south i'll be trying it.

No, it would be totally ridable, you would scrub and slide all over the place but the gradient is a good 40% explaining the need for 50 hairpins on a 80 meter descent. When I'm a millionaire I'm going to take my board and a Land Rover Defender and tear up that island!

http://m.huffpost.com/us/top/news not sure if that works or not. If not just google rainbow mountains. Looks like a trippy place to ride.
wow that seriously is trippy, imagine getting covered in multi-coloured dirt and power sliding from one to the other pulling streaks across. was surprised to find that its in Canada!
I strive to ride as much as a go on http://www.surfingdirt.com/forum
