Big fan of my Salomon. Kick the ass out of my current Asolo's. My Salomon's have seen better days now, the gore tex is a bit leaky, and the sole and uppers have pretty much had it.

Any one know where I can buy another pair of Salomon Revo GTX ?

i recomend these muchly, real comfy, cheap, strong enough for digging with a shovel, and feel good in both ratchet and snowboard bindings over long distance. use to ride with a guy in bristol who swore para boots were the best all round shoe for riding, but he was a smelly crusty.:p

I've been advised to use skate shoes, I prefer walking boots.

It depends what riding you do, for downhill and freeride walking boots are the way to go, but sillypoofaces, i mean freestylers would be better off with skate shoes as they have never heard of walking.

sorry bud, not to sure, there about two years old now, we have an online daily specials site over here that sells stuff like this super cheap, but there only one off offers. you can jump on ebay and search converse mid tops in the online stores, or converse.com has an updated version http://www.converse.com/#/products/shoes/sportauthentics/129794C

probley best thing is just hitting up the skate shops for whats on sale or mention your gonna cain them and see if they'll drop price if you chuck there shops stickers over everything you ride.

other real comfy hi tops i've got are Globes and I-Paths, again scored them cheap on sale, and the i-paths are made of hemp:)
