yeah i've got a pair of vectors, vector pro ti's matrix and matrix lites... in a park the vector pro's are best, freeride the matrix are best, freestyle the matrix lites are best...

Love my 18" Matrix Wides. Would like to try them in a Matrix Lite if they ever make them -- doubt it.

I have a set of 20" Matrix Lites. But they really wouldn't be the same as standard Matrix Lites. No inside spring position on the 20s makes them rank a little lower for me. But they did seem to work well on the Core 95 deck during the first shakedown runs last night.

I've only tried my GI Bionics so I guess I have a biased opinion. I'd love to try the matrix lites and the new Bionic Spring trucks.

Scrub Chanels are solid as fuck and not to weighty. I personally don't like the idea of plastic hangers (or Bionics Torsion cubes!!), I'm quite interested to try out the new spring bionics though.

I had a good firsthand look at a nosno back in 2003 but didnt get a chance to try it out. strange concept, I dont really see how they could be any good for carving, and seem way too heavy for freestyle. But without trying one out I can only speculate.

i found the board i was on really great for freestyle (think i was on the freestyle/freeride board). because of the bindings used and how short the boards are you don't notice the weight of them at all.

the boards don't turn really quickly so i found it alot of work dodging trees down tight rabbit runs. i don't know if this was the truck set up or not though.

I could never feel the difference between Matrix and Matrix lites.

My vote goes to the vectors purely based on the fact that i do alot of kiting with my board... so the light weight is perfect for big board offs and dont wobble like the skates when i go downhill... and i cant afford anything else...

The deck and wheels would have to be pretty light for me to feel a 5.3-ounce (150-g) difference while riding.

i think the matrix lite is more for "wank factor"...... Mines bigger than your's situation.
I live life a quater mile at a time. And when i'm not doing that i'm riding my mountain board.

I realy like the Flame Trucks, because they are extremly strong, lighter than the Matrix lite and the balance point is lower than at all the other Trucks - so its possible to ride with more speed and to have no speed-wobbles.

Would live to try those out, but on this side of the world we are extremely limited in regards to truck options. Do those trucks have springs or just bushings like the vector trucks?

Yes These Trucks have something like a bushing, but its an other and realy simple construction!
there is a rubber block between Truck and hanger. with the different sizes of these block and with the adjustment screw, you can fit the hardnes of the Trucks.
realy simple but effective!
