New Helmet Camera Company

Post by Marvin » Sun Mar 31, 2013 10:10 am

The wonderful people over at facebook suggested a page to me for a new company called flyte cam, been in touch with them and should be testing them in about a fortnight will give you guys a full review then.

but anyway here's the blurb and a link for everyones perusal.

Full 1080p high definition
60 frames per second for slow-motion videos (720p)
120 degree wide view lens
Anti-reflection lens
Internal multi-direction microphone

High definition mode: Record in stunning 1080p definition. Enough said
Action mode: Record in 720p at a rapid 60 frames per second, perfect for fast paced action
Social mode: Record in 720p at 30 frames per second, perfect for sharing your clips

With a rugged rubberised body, flytecam has been designed to be waterproof to 3 meters, without the need for an extra case…. After all, nobody wants to buy a sexy sofa and then have to hide it under an ugly blanket.

Designed to be waterproof to 3 meters
Shock and dust proof
Soft-touch, rugged body

We think this thing is super awesome. It uses neodymium magnet tech to snap the flytecam to the head, with rubberised teeth to lock it in place.

I'm contacting them. Going to see if they'd sponsor me a camera or 2 for "testing" purposes. Could use a few more for the riders, and if the video is good even better.
