Oh so durable!

"MBS trispokes! Mountainboarding's most durable hub!"

My ass. I just flipped a bit, did a sketchy landing and I blew off a piece off one of the brand new hubs. Rode with them 3 times. Getting parts here is a huge pain since there is no local dealer (*anymore).

Lucky part is that the hub is still usable. The part that tore apart was the one that held 9"s in place. The other is safe. I still have a ride, but this might be the last time I get something from MBS.

Unlucky Kiwy.. should've entered the Fall/pumpkin carving contest ;)
btw if u bought the mbs hubs recently from an authorised dealer or mbs themselves they will sort out your problem if you consider it a manufacturing problem. However they won't replace for normal wear.. If they replaced parts that broke after every 'sketchy landing' they'd be outta business!
Good to hear it's still useable too..
ooi the only truly indestructible hub was the plastic primo's, a bit like these but they had solid in-fill.. Got them with my Earthboard like 10 years ago!

I share your pain bro... broke one of my F4 ladder strap yesterday :( On ATBShop I would pay more than 3x the spare price just on shipping. Luckily it's a lot cheaper using PowerkiteShop, but nonetheless 3.95 GBP for postage on a 10 GBP spare part makes you think... Just in case I ordered 2 spares.
- Enjoy the Ride -

There were a lot of reasons why I didn't go. It's not like I didn't want to.
