Back in 2011 when I joined this forum I was looking for alternatives to fix or replace a broke binding.
2 weeks ago this happened:

I got so pissed about it I went all Bill Murray
Today I finally managed to get an idea how to fix it (result bellow). I'll test how it holds up after the glue dries up more. I used the same glue that you use on leather shoes. If it doesn't work, I'll switch to snowboard bindings and do a full review on how they adapt to mountainboarding.

It's glued and screwed into the original flex plastic inside. Hopefully it will hold. I'll find out tomorrow.

if you buy some more F4s its defiantly worth spending that little bit more for the pros because they just seem to have a little better build quality

I don't think I'll ever aim for MBS products again. Sure, I rocked the same F3s for 3 years and I still use the old matrix trucks (they're indestructible!) but the new stuff seems so low in terms of quality compared to the old.

lookin at your binding plate l bracket thing,i would put a bit more angle on the top bolt in the first pic, like two holes across if you know what i mean, it will put less stress on the repaired bit, it looks a bit harsh for the binding to cope with ? i aint saying thats why it snapped but it will keep the repaired bit a bit longer, first chance you get though fuck em off and get somthing different (scrub softs

) or cabbage a pair of old snowboard bindings and use the straps from them (looks shit but lasts ) hope any of this helps ?

Yes I thought about the angle. I'll try to find a good setup that doesn't bother me. i don't know how i broke it. I was upside down and caring more how not to break my neck at the time.
