I believe that is a 2001 model, it just has standard channel trux rather than the matrix trux.
This may help

Great board, that was my first ride. It was pressed by Never Summer back when MBS was still an American Made brand and was released at the same time as the original green comp16. The deck composition is exactly the same as the green comp16(which is considered to be one of the greatest mountainboards ever made) but is a bit heaver due to the deck length, bigger tires and most importantly the god awful and completely useless footplates that attache the bindings to the board. If you can get your hands on atleast the more updated aluminum footplates you would be way better off by honestly I recommend dropping the baseplates all together and laying down some griptape and installing some more modern mountainboard bindings on there like the F2 or F3 ratchet straps and you got yourself a killer board.
If were a crazy Britt I'd say just put some snowboard bindings on it, stick some concrete bushings in the trucks and get a fullface helmet and hopturn down the Alps but since you are a Gringo like me and probably want some carve to your ride stick some yellows eggs in there if you are under 175 lbs and install new bindings and you got yourself a helluva ride.

I wouldnt exactly call the board carbon fiber, although I think they used to way back when, its way more wood than you would think and has an almost balsa wood like core.

Also $90 is a great deal, I'd recommend getting F3 or F4 bindings.
This is a downhill board, so it's longer than most and has bigger (9") wheels. Over time, you may want to get smaller wheels if you want something lighter.
