Hey! I'm currently at Glasgow University in Scotland without my board (what was I thinking!!?).
Looking to bring it back over on the boat from Ireland for next semester and need a board bag.
From what I can tell there are no bags with wheels for travelling?
I have a Tom Kirkman board and looking for something that fits that snug and that I can carry on my back, because I'll also have a suitcase.
Any suggestions?
Can't wait to hit up some skateparks and spots in Scotland!

I've traveled with the Ground Industries Sherpa Bag. I posted a mini review on Mountainboard.net about it several years back (http://www.mountainboard.net/review-gi-sherpa-board-bag/

There's no wheels, like you mentioned, but it does have rucksack-ability and is built well. You can still find them for sale online.

Trampa has their "luxury travel bag" that looks pretty nice. No backpack straps but it does have a shoulder strap.

There were two generations of the Sherpa bag.

Gen 1: Stowable Shoulder Straps. Grab Strap. No Wheels.

Gen 2: (Produced in the final year before GI's closure): Stowable Shoulder Straps, Grab Straps. Two urethane (inline type) wheels on the end opposte the grab strap that allowed the bag to be dragged on smooth surfaces like airport/train station floors and sidewalks. Not suitable for grass, gravel, or general off-road schlepping.

For the ambitious whose bags don't include wheels.... with a tip of the hat to Dr. Frankenstein (courtesy of evilc) ....
