In case you haven't noticed
In case you haven't noticed, MBS, historical brand in our lovely mountainboard sport, has just launched a new range of boards, including an "all terrain" longskate" with non slick large diameter PU wheels....
If there is still someone alive on this forum, I think that it deserves few comments.

I was wondering why no one has said anything about it yet.
I don't know when they come out but the new trucks look great, I saw them Remolition. They look like a more sophisticated version of the springless matrix setup. so they have the responsiveness of the channel truck but the carvy feel of nosno trucks. looking forward to them showing more of their gear though.
Also, what happened to all the riders? No one is ever on here.

MBS no longer make ATS trucks with a 9.5 mm axle. They will be 12 mm. I suppose, now one bearing size for all and tougher ATS axles for entry level MBs.
I was going to make another Longskate-MB hybrid with Abec 11 Flys. But the 9.5 mm ATS Trucks were gone.

regarding axle diameter and bearings, it may be a good idea:
-12 mm axle (if hollow) can be strong and quite light
-9.5mm bearings have very small balls (as they have the same OD than 8mm bearings) and are not really good to handle mtb loads and shocks (12 mm with larger balls and OD are much better)

I have been using the 9.5 mm ATS trucks to make MB-LB street boards with larger ABEC 11 wheels.
Wanted to buy some 9.5 ATS from MBS a few weeks ago -- I like the wider tracking. Now all are gone. Whenever I come up with a use for one of MBS products, they discontinue it...

I was going to ask about the new matrix 2 trucks. I plan on picking up some of those long board wheels though, they are much cheaper than xt wheels or abec-11 100mm (or close to) my experience skating 100mm scooter wheels tells me I'll have flat wheels in a few months time, however the curve isn't as steep on the mbs off road wheels so maybe they'll last.
I'm surprised to see the vector trucks were restocked as when I talked to mbs before new stuff was shown, they said those would be discontinued. I see they did kill the ats pro trucks, I wonder if the new ats 0.12 trucks are titanium, or just steel & aluminium.

what do you guys mean, I scrolled through the mbs shop several times and didn't see anything listed as "fivestar," the tri spokes are still there too.
