agree 100%... but no explanation: is it linked to the subject, mountainboarding, or to the medium, forum...

McC was the driving force of this forum. With a new baby (another on the way?), he has/had other things more important to do.
Also many of the older members stopped posting.
I rode street and didn't have much to offer to the mainstream of this forum.
Also, I haven't ridden in 2 years due to health problems and injuries.
This is the evolution of many public forums. Members move on when they don't have anything more to offer.

I suppose the best thing to do would be to keep on posting new and interesting stuff.
That way it will encourage more people to get involved in the forum.
Perhaps someone who still uses the forum can become a moderator so they can remove the spam posts that keep popping up, anyone know how?

Perhaps we could advertise at mountain board centres?

I doubt there are any active moderators around now.
You'd have to contact McCarver about that. He started this forum.

At their September meeting, the Associates Committee congratulated Don Baker with DAVCO Waterproofing who has won his 4th National Championship Title in the extreme sport called "Mountain Boarding". The competition was held September 5, 2015 in South Haven, Kansas.
A true pioneer of the sport, Don started mountain boarding in 1994. His 1st National Title came in 1998. Don also promotes the sport through local youth programs.

This last post was from a industry newsletter of my local Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA-SV) in Silicon Valley. They also inserted the photo of me catching air at the Chaos in Kansas event

If somebody can make contact with McC. I'd be willing to consider part-time moderation to purge spam and trolls.
I sent McC a PM a few days but got no response.

If anybody can make contact with him on FB ask him to PM me here at SD.

Think I found McCarver on FB. Sent him a message through my wife's FB account. If anybody else knows him please get him to contact me. This looks like him and wife. The kids are the right age.
