Hello,
I was wondering how it feels riding slicks on terrain and if it's any good...
Since I also ride on asphalt I would change for slicks if they are alright on offroad terrain.
Also I've seen this video, there they seem to be riding slicks on smaller wheels.
Do you know what wheel size they are riding and where to get these smaller wheels with smaller slick-tires?

Thanks for your response!
Greetings

Re: Slicks on terrain
Slicks work everywhere, they're just more slidy on dirt than say T1s, which can be good or bad, depending on your style of riding, the type of terrain and I suppose speed. For freestyle, slicks are usually fine since there's not a whole lot of speed checking or cornering involved. If you're not completely strapped for cash, slicks are nice to have.
As for the video, I looked very quickly and assume that's a brazilian video. Some people there ride 7" wheels. I'd love to try myself, but haven't had a chance to.

Slicks are best for asphalt -- much better grip for tight carving.
Off-road lots of slip and slide while turning.

Matt Brind had slicks at the boardercross this year.

Slicks rock, they break free really easy on dirt. just ride it like a snowboard. a little more slidey.. sometimes ill go 3 slicks and 1 tread just too hook up one particular foot
Re: Slicks on terrain
Nice, I am really considering buying some, since I ride asphalt too
