Ooohh. Where can I get one of the green frame bars from the Terraboard? It'll be perfect for my RFM.

I really want to build a frame board, I was thinking of building one with matrix lites and a more modern deck.

Earthboard

Post by BDirthead » Tue Nov 10, 2009 2:05 pm

Here's a board that I won at the 2002 Dirtboarding Championships (Iowa, USA)
I changed up the tires and gave it to charity.

Earthboards were nice looking boards, but even if the owner hadnt been a scammer they probably wouldnt have gone very far due to their crappy trucks.

Those wheels look like they would break rolling off a kurb ;-)

Various generations were released over a few years, the one in the picture looks to be about 2008 judging by the bindings.

Its lighter than the current Pro DH so handles pretty well, but its so quick (50=mph is easy) you need the hardest rubbers so not the quickest turning, plus its pretty wide. That beasty creamed the Masters at the ATBA freeride race in '05 by 14secs, and wasn't far behind the Tathams and Leon even with a muppet like me on board...

Its currently in the spare room waiting for a new brake lever, and my newer Pro DH brake needs a full bleed. Went to dig them out for some forest riding tomorrow but it looks like I'm riding a stock board:mad:
Old enough to know better, been there done that...
