Rules:

One board per post, no repeats, and you cant post in this thread twice in a row. Extra credit if you can name the year it came out.

My first pick is the MBS Gremlin, it looks like it was made by John Deere. I think it came out in 1998-1999

This is the board that I learned to ride on, now sadly gone to a new home. I have no idea how old it is, as there are no details which match it exactly online, but i'm guessing it was either very late 90's or very early 0's

With great honour I submit the unbeatable Comp95 from MBS

Various generations were released over a few years, the one in the picture looks to be about 2008 judging by the bindings.

The NPD Landboard circa2000

Image

The NPD Landboard's patented QuadFLEX Suspension System had steel axels and an aluminum frame with four springs that would bolted on to a standard skateboard truck to convert your board into an offroad monstrousity. It is hard to understand why this seemingly perfect design never took off.

The Exit Aviator a horrible horrible board. Speed wobbles constantly, straps that are just pieces of fabric bolted to the board and trucks that bent at right angles when you try your 1st 180.

My 1st board, love it to bits!

The Offroad Boarding Co.'s "Mothership

Image

The Mothership, the first all-terrain boarding deck with a universal hole pattern was Rob Eakle's brain child and releases around 2001 I believe. The decks were made in California and were nearly impossible to break thanks to their hemp core and 10 layers of birch. The only problem was they tended to get soft with time, but I never saw one break.
