I prefer half finger wrist guards as it allow a little more ventilation of hot days and I've never really felt the need to have my finger tips covered. Saying that it does hurt when you smack them on the board when going for a grab and missing!

I didnt know they made Mountainboard gloves, but i bet they are bloody great.

I use finger less cycling gloves, the best thing I find about these is they allow me to use my phone (as I listen to music while riding).

But if I was to do a downhill comp, or more rough terrain, would defiantly have to get full finger gloves: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=is7SMGEpOQU&feature=colike

Full finger. Try to ride on our track in Bukovac without f.f. - you will loose your skin on powerslides

With full finger you get the rear splint and the full fingers and the option to take out the rear splint and chop off the fingers.
You can't add full fingers or a rear splint to half gloves.

Full fingered Hillbillys ! I love mine, the only problem is they're not very waterproof ... I'm yet to try wearing some of these washing up gloves on top to solve that problem :D

Just came across this thread. I use some old paintballing gloves.

Padded palm, hard wearing, armoured on the back for knucle protection and wristguards fit over the top and the icing on the cake is they on cost a fiver so they are cheap to replace when wworn out (plus you got a great excuse to go paintballing:))
