HELP Board Decision By Tomorrow

Post by mbsrider » Mon Dec 10, 2012 8:25 pm

I'm down to a used GI flight 2006, mbs comp 90, or mbs comp 95. I'm leaning towards the gi flight I know most would recommend the comp 95 though.

A 2006 GI Flight mountainboard is most likely going to have Generation 1 Torsion Bionic Trucks. The hangers were prone to cracking which is why they moved to a resin hanger cage in the second generation Torsion Bionics.

Cubes are going to be next to impossible to find as are kingpin parts and friction plates.

Believe those boards also used 9 ply maple decks, so it's going to run a bit heavy.

I love GI boards, but you're talking about a board that's going to be pushing 7 years old.

ATB,
Sam
