eggshocks on any board?

Post by franrockz » Wed Jan 09, 2013 7:03 am

Hi, i am from Argentina, and we dont get so much mountainboard stuff here because of importation problems... so i got my board last week and then i found on internet that there are things called eggshocks wich go inside the springs, what are they for? and can they be installed on any spring on board or truck?

Argentina! Where do you live in the great country? Do you have a picture of the trucks, or a brand name?

They actually look really nice. Maybe riding them is a different story, I don't know.
It looks like you should be able to put regular eggs in there. It looks like the springs are very close together, which means the trucks must not be very stable, and you probably want the stiffest eggs you can find (ex: mbs reds, or trampa greens).

what are the brakes pushing against? the plastic hub?

other than that looks a bit heavy but fine for a first board...

thank you, the model sold with the brakes here is assembled so that the brake pushes against the plastic, and that sucks, so i bought the brake separately and installed it makin different holes in the brake discs so that they fit in the plastic wheels the board has
