i live next to the beach except the sand is fairly soft.
recently i bought a 2.5m ozone imp to train for kitesurfing
now i want a landboard to go with it but i dont know whether that certain kite will pull me let alone lift me off the ground.
cheers

Depends on your weight and the terrain. You'll get nowhere on soft sand. You can only kite landboard on hard packed sand. Try some grass but you'll need about 30mph of wind with a kite that small and you'll probably only end up going down wind with that.

If you're interested in kiting start with a big kite in low winds. I fly a 2.2 on my Trampa but you do need big winds and a bit if experience. See if you can find some kiters near you. The board will be good enough for you once you know how to kite and have access to the right size kites.
