FREE Introductory Membership to the ATBA-UK for new riders

Post by leapb4ulook » Thu Feb 14, 2013 4:07 am

The ATBA-UK is the National Governing Body for Mountainboarding in the UK. It is a members organisation, run by the riders for the riders, which means it's only as strong as it's members. The more members there are, the stronger the ATBA-UK is, and the more it can achieve for mountainboarding in the UK. We're aiming for 1,800 members by 2015 to support our application to Sport England to recognise mountainboarding as a sport. You can be part of that, and you can get loads of benefits too.

Afraid not, it's first comp in any discipline, but now I'm looking forward to watching you freestyle this year.

Thanks. There's about 1200 at the moment, but I estimate over 3000 mountainboarders out there somewhere.

I will as much as possible. Maybe not riding this year, but signed up to volunteer so I'll be there digging/marshalling/handing out plasters!

Want to go to all of the boarder x and freestyle events. Planning on camping somewhere near the centres, as long as the weathers ok. Will definitely be at Ironsides and Bugs though.

The centers are fine with you camping in there land for a small fee. Boarder x and free style are all I can make this year being I've a baby that's going to have only just hit 1 and a very new born little sod is due today

Gunna be a busy year for you then Kryten!

It's good that you can camp at the centres, saves a lot of hassle try to find a campsite. Plus I like the sound of the party. Do you get many camping an the comps?

Oh god yeah there's loads camp stick with the Hales crew that's where the party's at lol. First boarder x at Hales there's a great little jib park, foam pit and the track is epic so see you there in a few month. Oh and correct me if I'm wrong but your first comp is also free so you should give it a go and test the water
