Max psi for streets comp 95x

Post by thesloth » Tue May 05, 2015 12:10 pm

On the board it says max psi is 50. I am wondering if that is only for jumps? For just commuting on sidewalks can I go higher then 50 or do I have to upgrade to the rockstar hubs?

depends on a few thing, but most of all the hub. if you have a twister hub you need to at least be cautious. i speak from personal experience when i say they will just tare (in my case when they where in side a boiling hot car mid summer 35C). on other hubs its less of an issue. trispokes for example have been known to go with much higher, even double the pressure with no problems.

id say if itsnt not very hot and as you say just cruising with no jumps id comfortably go to 60 maybe even 70...but watch it.

you might also consider getting different tyres with a stronger center bead like Primo Strikes or obviously MBS roadies
