What's the best way to make your board ride faster on the streets?

I got fairly used to longboarding where you just push and off you go, but when I got my mounainboard I inflated my tyres to where it seemed fairly comfortable and it doesn't go fast enough for my liking. Any tips for a fairly new rider?

Really hard tyres, well greased bearings, a good speed tuck, and steeper hills.

Or come riding in the woods...

In London, don't think that may happen, if I was back in Narva Joessuu, Estonia, maybe. But in London that's not gonna happen.
