I really don't want to get rid of this board because of how unique it is but I just recently had the urge to get something a bit better so I'm selling this to fund for a new board.

What we've got is a piece of mountainboarding history right here. This Reactor is identical to the MBS Charger, but it's 132cm instead of 152cm. I think the Reactor and Charger both came out in 2000. The went for around $350 brand new. This is a very fun mtb. It's in great shape, I took very good care of this ride. I think everything on it is original. The bottom frame rail has some scratching from normal use, along with a small amount of scratches on the front and rear trucks. The grip tape is a little dirty but that can be cleaned up. The tires have lots of tread on them and the bearings spin flawlessly. One of the tubes had a slow leak but I patched it with an old patching kit so I'm not sure how long it's going to last. I think you can buy a new tube for $5-$10. The springs will need to be replaced if you plan on riding it (they are old and compressed) but otherwise, nothing else is wrong with this board!

Here are a few pics...

I'm asking $150 or best offer. I'm also open to trades. I'll gladly trade this board (and maybe some cash) for a newer mountain board. I'm looking for an MBS Atom 95x or similar board (preferably with breaks). Email ( crpbmx61@gmail.com ), PM, or post any offers here. Local pickup only please (I am located in Stroudsburg, PA 18360) unless you want to pay for the shipping ;)

Thanks,

maxx

I've got to say that is the coolest thing I have ever seen!

It's like half MBS, half NoSno, half FlexFoil.
It's a shame I live in the UK

Yea I know haha, the design is pretty neat. If I don't sell it, I'm probably going to get some new springs and see if I can rig up some breaks.

Hey guys, I have decided not to sell this board pretty much because I'm not going to find another one like it in a while and it's probably the best board for my size right now, haha. Anyhow, thanks for the interest. I may put it back up for sale some other time but right now I feel like riding it...

put some orange or red eggshocks in there and it should be a good ride for a guy your size. No worries about bottoming out with the frame and all.

Yea definitely. The frame on this thing is what makes me want to keep it. No other board is as hefty as this one ;)

I think if you tried a newer board, you would really want to stop riding this old one... just saying...

Mikael you're a mega party-pooper.

This board is AWESOME... First generation mtb I believe? Would be something for the wall for sure but riding wouldn't be as hot... How low are you willing to sell it for?

It deserves to be in an art gallery, or hung on my living room wall.

this is like 5th generation mountainboard
this has the tripple spring position and this board was for sale about the time the blade and razor came out
with the triple spring position you can actually have 4 springs loaded in this bad boy at once
the triple spring position was later deemed the egg ejector mainly because if you set your springs and eggs in the outer most position, then laid down a slide, the springs and eggs would eject right out the side of the board durring the carve

cool board fun to ride... even more fun to mount a motor on
i love frame board for road riding so shreddy

I'll poop on parties whenever I want, ok?

It's an awesome board to have, don't get me wrong. What I'm saying is that if you're only going to have one board, you might want to ride a more recent one.

Frame boards are fun, you really feel like you're hovering over stuff. But when it comes to any sort of hopping or jumping, they suck. So do the bindings.

That late? I need to fresh up on my mountainboard history  The shooting springs might come in handy, if anyone at the skatepark gave you crap you could just shoot them!
